Yes. Information discussed during a consultation is treated confidentially in accordance with professional obligations and applicable privacy requirements.

To help ensure your privacy and security, virtual consultations are not available at this time. However, consultations may occur off-site when appropriate.

Services focus on the authorized paralegal scope of practice, including matters such as Small Claims Court, Landlord and Tenant issues, and Provincial Offences. Additional tribunal-related and summary conviction matters may be available depending on the specific case.

No. Legal matters depend on many factors, including the facts of the case, available evidence, applicable law, and decisions made by courts or tribunals. No legal professional can guarantee a specific result or outcome.

Although appointments are not required, they are preferred to ensure proper assistance. Due to the nature of legal practice, the Principal Paralegal may not be in the office to provide information or support for walk-in matters.

Our consultation fee is $150.00, payable at the time of booking.
If you retain our firm, the consultation fee will be credited towards your initial retainer.
If we determine that we are unable to represent you before or during the consultation (for example, due to a conflict of interest or because the matter falls outside our practice), your consultation fee will be refunded in full.
If we are able to provide the consultation but you choose not to retain our firm afterward, the consultation fee is non-refundable, as it covers the legal advice and time provided during the consultation.

A retainer is an advance payment held for future legal services and disbursements. The retainer agreement will outline the retainer requirements, replenishment terms, and billing arrangements.

Yes. Clients generally receive copies of significant documents filed or received in connection with their matter unless otherwise discussed.

Updates and documents may generally be provided via email. Promptly providing new information, deadlines, or correspondence can assist in maintaining accurate and timely file management.

Following retention - upon receipt of the signed retainer agreement and the retainer fee - you will receive a copy of the retainer agreement, may be asked to provide documents or information, and will be updated on next procedural steps, timelines, or filing requirements applicable to your matter.
